We have seen Dell launching the new XPS
and Venue series, but let’s talk about other players on the tablets
market like Amazon. Well for those who are not up to date with the
news, Amazon released two new Fire tablets, Kindle Fire HDX 7 and
Fire HDX 8.9 inches. These two tablets have 323 pixel per inch with a
reported resolution of 1920 x 1200 and 339 pixels per inch with a
2560 x 1600 resolution. Both tablets have micro USB with no HDMI and
no MHL. The 7 inch version has only front facing camera where the 8.9
version has another camera on the back, to be more exact an 8mpx one
with a led flash capable of capturing 1080p videos. As for the front
facing camera there is no info regarding on how many mpx but it is
supposed to capture 720p videos.
The tablets are equipped with quad-core
Snapdragon 800 processors running at 2.2GHz with Adreno 330 GPU and 2
GB of RAM. The built quality is quite good. Amazon claims that these
tablets have reduced glare also there is an interesting feature that
allows you read in outdoors easily any documents using Paperwhite.
Compared to any other tablets in its
category the Fire HDX tables have longer battery life.
