Amazons new Fire HDX tablets


We have seen Dell launching the new XPS and Venue series, but let’s talk about other players on the tablets market like Amazon. Well for those who are not up to date with the news, Amazon released two new Fire tablets, Kindle Fire HDX 7 and Fire HDX 8.9 inches. These two tablets have 323 pixel per inch with a reported resolution of 1920 x 1200 and 339 pixels per inch with a 2560 x 1600 resolution. Both tablets have micro USB with no HDMI and no MHL. The 7 inch version has only front facing camera where the 8.9 version has another camera on the back, to be more exact an 8mpx one with a led flash capable of capturing 1080p videos. As for the front facing camera there is no info regarding on how many mpx but it is supposed to capture 720p videos.

The tablets are equipped with quad-core Snapdragon 800 processors running at 2.2GHz with Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. The built quality is quite good. Amazon claims that these tablets have reduced glare also there is an interesting feature that allows you read in outdoors easily any documents using Paperwhite.

Compared to any other tablets in its category the Fire HDX tables have longer battery life.
